To celebrate the upcoming launch of ‘Remembering Leopards’, the latest book in the Remembering Wildlife series, a silent online auction has been launched to raise funds for conservation of these beautiful animals. I was asked personally by Margot Raggett MBE to create a piece for the auction so have drawn the above artwork ‘Treetop Slumber’, which will be on display at the launch event of Remembering Leopards at the Royal Geographical Society in London.
This beautiful book highlights photos of leopards from around the world by some of the globe’s leading wildlife photographers. I was fortunate enough to have my pick of images to draw from for my auction piece and chose to recreate in pencil a gorgeous photo by Roy Toft which is featured in the book.
There are other artworks included in the auction such as a piece by David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation patron Emily Lamb as well as signed books and experiences.
There is a live & virtual event held at the Royal Geographical Society in London to mark the launch, tickets can be purchased on EventBrite.
All photographs included in the book will be on display in an exhibition at the Oxo Tower in London from 11-15th October 2023 (free entry), find out more here.
