African male lions have become one of my favourite subjects to capture on paper. Their regal persona has made them to be one of the most loved and popular animals on the planet. To all those lucky enough to have seen one with their own eyes, there’s nothing quite as fascinating as watching them move from each footstep to the shake of a mane.
This original piece was drawn using Derwent Lightfast and Faber-Castell Polychromos Pencils on Black Stonehenge 250GSM Fine Art Paper.
