While walking along the canal near my home, a kingfisher flew past my head in a flash of blue and orange to land in a nearby tree. There it sat and let me observe it for 10 minutes before flying off. This amazing experience inspired me to draw ‘Little Blue’ in tribute to that kingfisher.
