White Rhinos are one of the ‘must see’ animals the world has to offer. Their size and large horns can be quite intimidating to a human but they can also be incredibly gentle creatures.
When I was 13, I had a weeks work experience at a Safari Park. At the end of one day I was sat in the passenger seat of a jeep helping to round the rhinos in for the night when one calmly walked over, pressed it’s horn against the open window and let me stroke it. This piece is a tribute to that white rhino and the magical moment I never forgot.
Sadly there are only 2 Northern White Rhinos left in the world, both female and both in captivity but through science, this species may be saved by using frozen embryos and a careful breeding programme with Southern White Rhinos.
Prints are made on 285gsm Matte Fine Art Paper using the Giclee method to ensure they are guaranteed to last at least 100 years.
Each print is hand signed, numbered and delivered rolled in a mailing tube complete certificate of authenticity & artwork care guide. Mount not included.
